Historic Preservation Policy News! The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation has voted to move forward with proposed revisions to the federal Section 106 regulations, which govern how federal agencies consider effects on historic properties. Because the proposal could affect emergency planning, disaster response, long-term recovery, and clarity in the field around Tribal consultation and public engagement, the EMEAA has prepared the attached overview to help members understand the current status, the major reported changes, and the issues to watch as the proposal moves toward publication and public comment.
